Typical supply and install prices for our area. Your exact price depends on the unit, pipe run, wall type and electrical, which is why we give a fixed written quote before any work starts.
2.5–3.5 kW, bedroom or study

Prices are a guide only and include GST. A standard installation is back-to-back or a short pipe run on a single-storey wall with an available circuit. Two-storey access, long pipe runs, wall brackets and switchboard upgrades are quoted as required.

Common questions
How long does a split system installation take?
Most single split systems are installed in half a day to a day. Multi-head systems usually take one to two days, and ducted systems two to three days depending on the home.
What size air conditioner do I need?
As a rough guide, a bedroom needs 2.5–3.5 kW and a living area 5.0–7.1 kW, but sun, ceiling height and insulation all change it. We size every system before we quote. You can also try our air conditioner size calculator.
Do I need a switchboard upgrade?
Not usually. Each system needs its own circuit and most switchboards have room for it. If yours doesn't, we'll tell you in the quote. Because we're electricians as well, it's done on the same visit.
Split system, multi-head or ducted?
Split systems are the most efficient way to cool one or two rooms. Multi-head suits several rooms where you only want one outdoor unit. Ducted suits whole-home comfort with nothing on the walls. We'll recommend what fits your home and budget.
